Needless to say, Villa Erba is the best wedding venue in Lake Como for any couple with a large guest list! Villa Erba’s ballroom has to capacity to seat up to 500 guests for your wedding reception. Additionally, they provide their couples exclusive use of the ballroom until 5 am. Villa Erba is private & tucked away from its neighbors. So you can keep the dance floor lit until the break of dawn!
Another fab fact about hosting your wedding at Villa Erba is that they provide their couples with an unforgettable entrance to their wedding day. You’ll arrive to your ceremony by boat! Talk about a grand entrance! And, if any of your guests happen to own or rent a boat or yacht during their visit, Villa Erba has a private dock where they can moor. Villa Erba does not provide on-site, accommodations. However, it is not located far from Villa D’Este which is a preferred location for overnight accommodations for couples and their guests. 2) Villa d’Este

The Napoleone room is located in the Cardinal Building near the Veranda restaurant. This room was created on the occasion of a visit by Napoleon. 11) Villa Lario
Providing an exclusive experience, Villa Làrio only hosts a select number of tailor-made weddings per year. Villa Lario has special permission and licensure from the mayor of the village to perform legally binding civil ceremonies on their property. Extending over two acres of private gardens, Villa Làrio is situated between the lake and the cliffs. Their overnight accommodations for guests are provided in four different constructions.Including the following: Il Palazzo, Villa Bianca, The Pavilion, and the Garden Suite.
Il Palazzo is a 19th-century lake from a classical villa that was fully restored in 2020 with modern amenities. It comes with a private reception area and terrace. 12) Relais Villa Vittoria
The Relais Villa Vittoria steps into the past with it’s unique collection of antiques. But provides a modern twist with its amenities and comforts. At Relais Villa Vittoria, weddings are exclusive, sometimes multi, day events! Exclusive use of the villa requires reservations in each of the guest rooms. Additionally, a villa buyout comes with the use of each of their unique spaces to celebrate your wedding!
However, if you are planning a more intimate wedding day experience of up to 30 guests, you can host your wedding at the Villa without exclusivity. The options are as follows. For a wedding ceremony at Realis Villa Vittoria, there are five options. The Main Terrace, Terrace La Piazzetta, Jasmine Gazebo, Garden on the lake, and the Living Room.
The Main Terrace is recommended for wedding ceremonies of up to 30 guests. The terrace ‘La Piazzetta’ is also available for wedding ceremonies of up to 30 guests. However this space is only available from October 1st to May 31st. The intimate & romantic Jasmine Gazebo provides panoramic views of Lake Como and is best suited for ceremonies with up to 10 guests. The garden on the lake is available for wedding ceremonies, but only with exclusive use of the villa. It has a total capacity of up to 70 people. If you opt to host your wedding reception here, a covered pergola is available in case of rain.
Cocktail Hour & Dinner Receptions at Relais Villa Vittoria
For cocktail hour, the villa offers the Terrace ‘La Piazzetta’, for groups of up to 30 guests. The Main Terrace is also available, but only in the event of an exclusive buyout. Seated dinners are offered in four distinct areas of the Villa. The Pergola by the pool, the wine cellar, the Veranda, or the Living Room. The Pergola by the pool is available with either exclusive or non-exclusive use of the venue. This space is a covered area that provides room for round or imperial tables. For exclusive use, this space can seat up to 70 guests. For non-exclusive use, it can seat up to 30 guests.
Dinners in the wine cellar are only for intimate events and does not require exclusive use of the venue. For a seated dinner, this space can accommodate up to 16 guests. For a cocktail reception, this space can accommodate up to 24 guests. The veranda overlooking the lake is available for receptions from October 1st to May 31st. This space hosts seated dinners of up to 30 guests; exclusive rental of the villa is not required. Lastly, the living room of the villa is available for seated dinners, only with exclusive rental of the villa. This space can seat 40 guests with imperial tables or 68 guests using round tables.
