Rich tones evoke warmth, and cool colors bring out a sense of calm.

Because we know you want your wedding to be the best party you’ve ever thrown, we’ve rounded up 5 of our favorite modern-day spins on fall wedding color palettes. So get your Pinterest boards ready or clear up some space on your camera roll to screenshot the palettes below!
1) Black, White, Mauve, and Pink
Dark and mysterious with an edge of luxury. This black, white, mauve and pink fall wedding color palette is for the couple who wants to take some inspiration from the fall season but leave the rest! Black and white is such a classic wedding day color palette, but we know you want to spice it up a few notches from “classic”. Add a rich mauve to your black and white color palette; just a shade or two lighter than black, and top it all off with accents in dusty baby pink and you’ve got yourself a color palette that is far from brown and boring. It’s the perfect mix of classic wedding day meets unique and modern with warm fall vibes!
Our tip for setting the experience with this color combo? Your wedding stationery will set the tone of your day by being the first stop in introducing this punch of color to your guests from the minute they are invited!
2) Blue, Gold, Dusty Pink, and Cream
There are so many ways to take wedding inspiration from the fall season, and this blue, gold, and dusty pink fall wedding color palette is just one of them! It’s dreamy and cozy and the gold accents give it just enough to create an elevated feeling, without going full-blown Versailles on your wedding day.
Blue has kind of made a comeback to wedding color palettes and wedding decor in more recent years. However, it’s usually by way of couples choosing to work with shades of dusty blue that are so light they are almost a neutral. But, if you want to pull off blue for your fall wedding, and you totally can, we recommend going with a deep warm hue. Like the royal blue depicted below, or even a deep shade of navy!

3) Emerald and Cream
Emerald green has the decor department covered for your fall wedding! Doesn’t emerald green feel so regal? There’s just something about it right? We think so! It’s also an amazingly warm color that looks fabulous in varying textures. So if you plan on playing around with texture for your fall wedding, this will be the color palette of your dreams. Pretty much anything from your bridal party dresses, to table linens, napkins, and draped backdrops, would look incredible done in shades of emerald. So typically, emerald green is paired with gold when it comes to creating a wedding color palette. But that’s been done to death. So, we’re pairing it with cream instead!
Want to pull off this color palette for your tablescape but make it more you? Swap the gold figurines on the tablescape for photos or souvenirs of your recent travels together!
4) Gold, Yellow, and Green
Let’s not call it rust yellow or mustard, ok? It doesn’t even sound elevated or fall-inspired when you start getting way too literal with naming colors. How about gold, or sunshine yellow, paired with ripe shades of greenery? Sounds much more dreamy, right? This fall wedding color palette has to be the most modern combination on the list and it definitely shows up in a big way! Shades of yellow are typically used by our spring wedding counterparts, but if you can pair it with the right tones, it is 100% doable for your fall wedding.
But, be mindful. If you choose to create this color palette for your wedding day, it can quickly go from warm inviting romantic fall wedding to spring has sprung. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, but if you want your wedding day experience to feel warm and inviting, we just had to point that out!
5) Plum and Pink
Is it a plum and pink fall wedding color palette? Or is it a purple on purple on purple on pink fall wedding color palette? Either way, it’s a whole mood! A mood fit for an epic fall wedding day celebration. And we’d like to bet that you have yet to see a wedding color palette as hauntingly beautiful as this one!
Do you like the idea of purple on purple but you’re not too crazy about using light pink as an accent shade? For a spooky meets luxe wedding day vibe, swap the pink accent for black! Not too crazy about black in your wedding color palette either? Cream or white would also be an amazing swap for this uniquely fall, uniquely you wedding color palette!
Wondering how you can pull this look off with your wedding day florals? Dark purple or black calla lilies (also known as “night cap”) will bring this whole vibe together!
If you didn’t plan on having a fall wedding before, you might be dreaming one up right now! So we have to ask, which of these color palettes is so you?
