1) Angele Restaurant & Bar
Want to feel like you are dining in the French countryside? Angele Restaurant & Bar is located in downtown Napa and focuses on simple cuisine that evokes the flavors and hospitality of the French Countryside. The building that Angele Restaurant & Bar is housed in is the historic Hatt Building, which is located along the Napa River. So you’ll get a unique waterfront view combined with a delectable dish. If French food isn’t your thing, don’t worry. The menu of Angele Restaurant & Bar combines the fresh ingredients of Northern California into many of their dishes. Naturally, they have an extensive wine program and you’ll find fab labels from both France and Napa!
2) Cole’s Chop House
Maybe you’re reaching your capacity for wine during your Napa Valley Bachelorette trip and you’re ready to taste something with a deeper profile. Cole’s Chop House has an extensive menu of world-class whiskey selections! Cole’s Chop House is in fact a steak house, but it is Napa Valley’s favorite steak house. On the menu, you’ll find 21–day dry–aged prime steaks, side by side with fresh seafood, lamb, and hauntingly delicious a la carte sides. In addition to its amazing menu and selection of whiskey, Cole’s Chop House is located in the Williams-Kyser building. Constructed in 1886, the building is the very first commercial building ever constructed north of the Napa Creek. The atmosphere at Cole’s Chop House is laid back but the menu delivers in a big way!
3) Bistro Don Giovanni
Hands down, one of the names that pops up over and over again among locals for the best place to dine is Bistro Don Giovanni. Their menu is hand-crafted, and the ingredients are garden-fresh. Furthermore, the day at Bistro Don Giovanni starts by baking their traditional, focaccia and ciabatta breads from fresh semolina. Once the bread is baked, they move on to their house-made egg pasta and traditional Neapolitan pizzas. If your mouth isn’t watering quite yet, some of the favorites among guests at Bistro Don Giovanni include Mama Concetta’s meatballs, the crispy Chicken Diavolo, and their savory salmon filet. Bistro Don Giovanni offers seating indoors or on their outdoor patio near their fountain garden.
4) Torc
Torc is a kind of a no muss no fuss, skip the white table linens kind of eatery. The energy is high and the vibe makes you feel like Torc is where it’s at! The bar services guests with deliciously crafted cocktails and rare wines (by the glass) all before your amazing plate is placed before you. The owners pride themselves on dismantling what a fine dining experience looks like by replacing pomp with a relaxed environment.
The menu is full of fabulous fusion options like the farm fresh deviled eggs, house-made rigatoncini, red snapper, and prime Angus filet. The music is rockin’ and there is major love for serving up the freshest, highest-quality ingredients. Torc does not currently offer outdoor seating and the largest party size they can accommodate is 8 guests. But, if your Napa Valley Bachelorette has a higher guest count, you’ll be happy to know that they do offer takeout!
5) Zuzu
Tapas in wine country, could anything be more perfect? The menu at Zuzu is inspired by the flavors of Northern Spain and it is a favorite hot spot in downtown Napa. Visitors go to Zuzu for lunch, dinner, and their famed paella-to-go! You’ll find small plates that feature the best regional ingredients of California. 1) V. Sattui
Practically a Napa Valley institution, V. Sattui is a rustic Italian estate winery located in the heart of Napa Valley. And they have it all! Food, wine, venues, and all the gorgeous views of their vineyards and the surrounding mountain ranges. You do not need a reservation to shop their marketplace or plan a picnic on their grounds. However, if you want a more formal wine-tasting experience, reservations are highly recommended due to their limited capacity.
Tastings occur indoors and outdoors, with outdoor tasting providing a tented space in the event of inclement weather. If you want to visit V. Sattui but have a tour or tasting planned elsewhere, we highly recommend the picnic option! In fact, their marketplace houses everything you could possibly need or want to plan a fab picnic including sandwiches, paninis, pastas, charcuterie, cheeses, and house-made desserts! 2) Domaine Carneros
Want to sip sparkling French wine and feel as though you are an ex-pat living your best life in Provence? Domaine Carneros feels like Europe but with the comforts of Napa Valley. Domaine Carneros is a small grower and producer of méthode traditionelle sparkling wine, Pinot Noir, estate vineyards, and a breathtakingly beautiful Château. 3) Castello di Amorosa
An authentically styled 14th-century Tuscan Castle, Castello di Amorosa has an extensive list of varying tastings! For the last 50 years Schramsbery Vineyards has been a purveyor of extraordinary sparkling wines. Schramsbery Vineyards offers tasting experiences as well as tour experiences, but each of their offerings is by appointment only, so you’ll need to book your reservation in advance. Dubbed the winery tour in Napa Valley with the best view. Sterling Vineyards offers wine tastings, events, and tours for groups of over 15 guests.
